safety_critical During the development phase large-scale experiments with the real vehicle can be safetycritical.        For example, in a large safetycritical system, often only a small part has a true safety function; other parts may be mainly for convenience.        In our previous work, we designed a pointer logic system and proposed a framework for developing and verifying safetycritical programs.        In recent years the functionality required of computer based control systems for safetycritical real-time applications has increased dramatically.        Neil's case was that this has wider significance than safetycritical systems since every system has requirements which are critical.        On the one hand, it is necessary to improve the state of the art in designing safetycritical systems.        These requirements are particularly important in safetycritical applications where embedded systems are frequently used.
