    OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects of interleukin 1 β(IL 1 β)and interleukin 1 receptor antagonist(IL 1ra)on mesangial cells proliferation and synthesis of nitric oxide. METHODOLOGY Glomerular mesangial cells form SD rats were cultured.

    Results Administration of 5 ~ 50 mmol/L taurine into culture medium had no loxicity to mesangial cells, but could significantly inhibit mesangial cells proliferation in dose-dependent manner, subsequently increased the cells in Go/Gi phase and decreased the cells in S phase. In addition, turine could markedly inhibit the expression of c-jun and c-fos( P < 0. 01), but it didn't induce mesangial cells apoptosis.
    结果 在5~50mmol/L浓度范围内牛磺酸能剂量依赖性地抑制系膜细胞增殖,可使G0~G1期细胞增多,S期细胞减少,并能明显抑制c-jun、c-for的表达(P<0.01),而牛磺酸并不诱导系膜细胞的凋亡。
    Methods: we randomized 62 patients who had obvious mesangial cells proliferation testified by renal biopsy into 2 groups according to age,course,clinical manifestations and the pathological lesions.
