    CONCLUSION: In newborn rats with acute hyperoxic lung injury, inhaled 10-5 nitric oxide for 24 h may attenuate lung edema and increase AQP1 mRNA expression, suggesting that inhaled 10-5 nitric oxide for 24 h may promote the AQP1 expression in lung in this model of acute lung injury.

    Objective To evaluate the expressions of multidrug resistance associated protein (MRP 1) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in acute leukemia and their clinical significance.

    Methods Expressions of MRP1 and VEGF were determined in 46 patients with acute leukemia by using immunohistochemistry staining. The samples were assayed to study the expression of MRP1 and VEGF before and after induction chemotherapy.
