After a brief review of the basic wavelet theory and some fast algorithms, a practical technique developed for signal singularity detection and classification is proposed. It is used to detect some typical fault signals and to analyze a time-varying signal of metal cutting chatter in a type Mx-4 lathe. Some exciting results have been obtained.

应用一阶导数阈值法进行心电QRS波及动脉收据压波峰检测,通过更新不同数据段导数阈值的方法,克服了心电基线漂移、肌电等噪声干扰对QRS波检测的影响。在此基础上,根据间期序列转换方法获取了心率变异性(HRV)与动脉收缩压变异性(SBPV)信号。对偶发性心律不齐对HRV谱估计影响的研究结果表明:偶发性心律不齐形成HRV信号的奇异点会使谱估计结果产生严重畸变,进行HRV信号谱估计时,必须去除HRV信号包含的奇异点,以保证得到较真实的谱估计结果。
