The results showed that NH_3 -N and zinc concentrations in the rumen fluid were lower (P<0.05) when goats were fed with ZnMet diet than those fed with ZnO diet and control diet.     Nine wethers aging about 1. 5 years were divided into 3 groups, treated with zinc me-thionine, zinc oxide and melhionine separately, with the same basal diet and same amount of zmc. Immune responses for the 42 - day study were significantly different across treatments. Group treated with zinc methionine had better immune responses than the other two groups.
