Results serum levels of TGF-β1 in the EH with renal damage group(50.36±6.92 ng/ml) is significantly higher than non renal damage group and the control group (40.62±5.25 ng/ml and 39.52±6.68 ng/ml);
The serum levels of TGF-β1 in different gene type groups are different. (TT 36.32±3.05 ng/mlTC 39.87±3.94 ng/ml and CC 51.26±4.76 ng/ml),highest in CC gene type group.
Objective: To determine the serum levels of Th1 cytokine IL-18 and Th2 cytokine IL-10 in chronic urticaria patients before and after specific immunotherapy(SIT).
Methods By electrochemiluminescence method,the serum levels of CEA,CA72-4 were measured in 35 healthy adults,91 patients and 32 postoperative patients.
Objective To analyze the association of transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1) gene +869 polymorphism and serum level of TGF-β1 with essential hypertension(EH) and renal injury.
ObjectiveTo examine serum level of Th1 cytokine IL-18 and Th2 cytokine IL-10 in patients with chronic urticaria and to further discuss the immune pathogenesis of chronic urticaria.
The serum concentrations of T, DHEA-SO4 and androstenedione, stable during the menstrual cycle, were 1. 93 ±1. 26 nmol/L, 4. 69±1. 83 μmol/L and 3. 04±1. 16 nmol/L, respectively.
Results The level of CYFRA21-1,NSE and SA were 6.95±7.47ng/ml,17.B4±17.06ng/ml,658±122.64ug/ml in lung cancer group,They were 1.91±0.76ng/ml,8.17±2.82ng/ml,510±89.26ng/ml in contrast group.
In 32 preoperative patients the levels of CEA,CA72-4 were respectively 27.9±22.1ng/mL, 9.4±6.3u/mL,when 32 patients were operated,the levels of CEA,CA72-4 were respectively 2.5±1.7 ng/mL,4.5±3.4u/mL,the result was significantly lower than the preoperative result(P<0.05).
The average serum NSE level of patients with pulmonary carcinoma was 30.1±30.9ng/ml, and that of patients with benign lung diseases was 13.4±6.2ng/ml,the difference being significant (p<0.01).
The effects of renal function and hemodialysis were examined on serum levels of some of the tumor markers including CEA, CA199, CA125, AFP, CA153, CA724, CYFRA21-1, NSE, SCC-Ag, PSA, and fPSA.
There existed significant differences in serum levels of CEA, CA199, CYFRA21-1, NSE, and SCC-Ag among different Ccr groups and the markers bore a negative correlation with Ccr.
CICs were determined in 92 children with glomerular diseases by PEG precipitation-complement consumption (PEG-CC) test. The frequency (27 out of 34) as well as the serum level of CIC in APGN was found to be the highest among various glomerular diseases and was paralleled to the activity of the disease. Out of 13 children with upper respiratory infection (URI without glomerular disease) 4 proved to be CIC positive. The CIC lasted longer in patients with APGN than that of URI. The renal biopses were performed...
In acute experiments on anaesthetized dogs,pancreatic polypeptide(PP)con-centrations in pancreatic juice collected from a cannula and in serum were measuredby radioimmunoassay after intravenous injection of secretin(8μg/kg)or cholecy-stokinin octapeptide(CCK_8,40 ng/kg).Similar measurement was made before andafter electrical stimulation of thoracic vagus.It was found that a significant amount of PP-like immunoreactivity waspresent in the basal pancreatic juice with a mean output of 3130±2200 pg/15min which ...
Human colostrum and milk collected at different times during the first six months of lactation from 301 subjects were tested for the levels of SIgA, IgM, IgG, C3, C4, lactoferrin and lysozyme by the technique of radial immunodiffusion. These kinds of immunoglobulins in colostrum and milk were detected, however the SIgA was highest among immunoglobulins in colostrum, which acounted for 89.8%.The average level of SigA on the first day of postpartum was 3152.5 mg/dl and exceeded those in the serum by 13-fold. ...
