To inverstigate the role of nitric oxide(NO) in burn shock, the model of burn shock in rats were maked. The influences of L NAME-inhibitor of NO synthase, L Arg-precursor of No and AG-selective inhibitor of inducible NO synthase to mean arterial pressure(MAP), microcirculation of muscle, concentration of NO - 2/NO - 3 in blood and the survival time were observed. The results showed that the concentration of NO - 2/NO - 3 in blood increased significantly after burn, accompained with the decrease of...

To inverstigate the role of nitric oxide(NO) in burn shock, the model of burn shock in rats were maked. The influences of L NAME-inhibitor of NO synthase, L Arg-precursor of No and AG-selective inhibitor of inducible NO synthase to mean arterial pressure(MAP), microcirculation of muscle, concentration of NO - 2/NO - 3 in blood and the survival time were observed. The results showed that the concentration of NO - 2/NO - 3 in blood increased significantly after burn, accompained with the decrease of MAP and the disorder of microcirculation of muscle. Administration of L NAME inhibited the decrease of MAP, but worsened the disturbance of microcirculation and shortened the survival time of animals; L Arg and AG on the contrary, and admistration of AG can also increase MAP mildly. These drew the conclusion that the large amount of NO in blood after burn is an early protective mechanism of body to injury, inhibiting iNOS selectively and stimulating the synthesis of NO are probably appreciate to patients with burn shock.
