The dynamical sedimentation characteristics of different grain -size suspended sediments are analysed on the basis of measured velocity , suspended sediment concentration, suspended sediment grain-size distribution and fine sediment flocculation test in flowing saline water.
Cultivated for 65~72h in flakes, the F00 strain produces a strong-activity flocculant, under optimum flocculating conditions. The flocculant was used for flocculating test on nutrient-rich lake in the lab. The results indicated: Added flocculant's supernatant of centrifuged culture 2%(V/V) and treated for 10min, the removal rate of optical density (OD) was 70% and that of suspended solids (SS) was 62%.
Having carried out flocculating test of three samples from different well pits,it was demonstrated that after adding chemical agent to the waste mud the natural dewatering rate reached 25%￣ 35%,the vacuum dewatering rate increased to 51%￣61% under 13.3kPa pressure difference,and the floc lost mud making ability.
