溢流坝上闸孔自由出流问题具有重要的实际意义,但是过去研究得并不充分。所以直到现在, 在水力学和设计规范中,都缺乏正确的系统的说明。可是设计溢流坝时,又不能不计算闸孔的大小和水库水位的高低,因此就只好采用一些不完善的方法,结果当然易于产生错误。由于实际工作的需要,作者从最基本的方面进行了这个问题的研究,结果查明:对通用的流量公式而论,流量系数(μ)是孔口高度5水头的比值(a/H),及闸孔上缘(指:闸门或胸墙)下游末端的切綫与水平面所成的夹角(θ)的函数。业已发现这三个变数间的关系是:在以μ为纵座标,以a/H为横座标的图上,构成了因θ而变的散射綫族,其中,μ与a/H及θ均成反比变化。根据这个关系,作者提出了决定μ的新公式。

(as against 45.+φ/2 assumed by Casagrande). Bassd upon experimental date, the ratio between verjtical and horital shearing strength or loess is taken as 1.10. Sokolovski's formula for curves of side siope under limiting condition are simplified by introducing a no-dimension factor, and computation table is listed accordingly. While checking the side slope of anisotropic materials, side slope at 2/3 depth is taken as standard. The author also assigns factors of safety K=C/C_1=φ/φ_1 for different types or loesses and different conditions of roadbed constructions. Finally, side slopes for heights up to 36 m. are arbitrarily assigned by the author, which suft the conditions of North Shausi.

The purpose of this Work is to develop a method for solving the boundary value problem of the exact theory of water waves. The boundary value problem of mixed type of harmonic functions with unknown and non-linear boundary conditions has been reduced to the boundary value problem of mixed type of harmonic functions with known and all-linear boundary conditions. The present metnod has been applied to finding first-order approximate solutions for two different sets of boundary conditlons, and the results obtained are in agreement with that obtained by Pohle and by Penney and Thornhill.

本文提出解水波准确理论初值问题的一个方法,将原来的求解存在于未知区域并有非线性边界条件的调和函数的混边值问题化为逐次求解一个在已知区域上另有线性边界条件的调和函数混合边值问题,并就两种情况——水(?)渍决而引起的水的运动和被支持在水平面上的开始为静正并成半圆柱形的水的运动——得到了一级近似解,在这两种情况下所得的结果分别与Poble及Penney和Thornhill所得的结果一致。
