Qi stagnation and blood stasis, accumulation of damp-heat, dampness encumbering spleen due to asthenia, stagnation of liver Qi and insufficiency of liver and kidney are the usual symptoms and signs, and the frequencies are 79.07%, 68.22%, 63.57%, 54.26% and 52.71% respectively;
Results:the common seen TCM differentiation of essential hypertension includes Yang hyperactivity and yin deficiency 17.7% , excessiveness of phlegm dampness 12. 8% , yin deficiency of liver and kidney 11. 7% , yin deficiency and phlegm dampness 8.7% , qi stagnation and blood stasis 8.3%, hyperactivity of liver fire 8.3%.
Results Syndromes of Qi Stagnation and Blood Stasis(Qizhi Xueyu气滞血瘀),dampness and heat(Shire Yunjie湿热蕴结),phlegm and blood stasis(Tanyu Bizu痰瘀闭阻) were the common cases while those of pulmonary heat (Feire Shixuan肺热失宣) and blood and qi faint (Qixue Kuixu气血亏虚) were rare ones.
Results: There were 144 FD patients in weakness of the spleen and the stomach (28.8%), 57 FD patients in stagnation of Qi and blood stasis (11.45%), 75 FD patients in retention of indigested food in the stomach (15%), 52 FD patients in cold-syndrome associated with heat-syndrome (10.4%) and 172 FD patients in mixed type (34.4%).

Research have proved,cough and asthma are differentiated by the condition of the liver, there are the syndromes of liver-Qi attacking lung, hepatic fire attacking lung, stagnation of liver-Qi and blood deficiency, stagnation of Qi and blood stasis, blood stasis, insufficiency of the liver-blood, Kidney-Yin and Liver-Yin deficiency, Cold in Liver and so on.
Conclusion One time large dosage and multiple times of small dosage adrenaline subcutaneous injection to simulate angry and anxious status could produce blood stasis animal model. This fact provides an experimental basis for "Qi stagnation causes blood stasis" theory in TCM.
①The 192 patients with sudden hearing loss were distributed as follow: 47 cases of wind-heat invasion, 28 cases of disturbing upward of liver-fire, 25 cases of pyrophlegm-stasis, 11 cases of damage of kidney-essence, 14 cases of weakness of the spleen and stomach, and 67 cases of qi-stagnancy and blood stasis.
In addition, other 7 syndromes accounted for 30.92%, they were endoretention of damp heat, asthenia of both spleen and kidney, qi-stagnancy and blood stasis, deficiency of both the splenic and pulmonary Qi, deficiency of kidney-Yin, cardionephric disharmony and splenasthenic syndrome.
Results The symptoms and signs of 4 subtypes of syndrome of blood stasis, deficiency of qi and blood stasis, qi- stagnancy and blood stasis, yin asthenia and blood stasis and phlegm-turbid and blood stasis, were got out based on correlation rate of information entropy, and 12 common symptoms and signs shared by 4 subtypes were taken as symptoms and signs of total syndrome of blood stasis.
The authors adopted acupuncture plus auricular electro-acupuncture to treat 38 cases of dysmenorrhea belonging to qi stagnation and blood stasis pattern, the better therapeutic effect was achieved, with the effective rate of 97.4%.
