In this study,the a cells of pancreas islets from fasting rats and normal rats were demonstrated with methods of immunocytochemistry,and the optic density of glucagon immunocytochemical reaction within the cells was quantitated by microspectrophotometer.The volume density and numerical density of the α cells were also measured by stereological method.The results showed that the glucagon immunocytochemical reaction within the α cells of fasting rats was significantly decreased as compared with that of normal rats,but no marked difference of the volume density and numerical density of the a cells was found between the two groups.This study suggested that the α cells of pancreas islets can be stimulated by fasting to release glucagon,but they may not play an impotant role in the regulation of blood glucose during prolonged fast because no corresponding changes of increasing the related volume and number of the α cells occurred in the pancreas islets of fasting rats.

应用免疫细胞化学方法对饥饿5d大鼠和正常大鼠胰鸟α细胞进行显示,并用显微分光光度计和体视学技术对2组动物α细胞内胰高糖素的反应强度和α细胞在胰岛内所占数量和体积进行计量分析。结果表明:与正常对照组相比,饥饿大鼠胰岛α细胞内胰高糖素含量明显下降,但α细胞在胰岛内的相对数量和体积并无明显变化。提示:饥饿可导致胰高糖素释放,但由于大鼠胰岛α细胞在胰岛内并未出现相应数量和体积增加的代偿性改变,因此推测在持续性饥饿过程中α细胞对血糖不起主要调节作用。

Conclusion Chronic intermittent starvation treatment can induce learning and memory impairment in the early period.

目的探讨慢性间歇性饥饿对大鼠空间学习记忆、被动回避反应能力的影响。方法SD雄性大鼠,随机分为正常对照组和模型组,模型组采取饥饿2 d,恢复喂食3 d的方法喂食,正常喂水,喂养60 d,通过Morris水迷宫检测大鼠空间学习记忆能力,电跳台实验检测大鼠的被动回避反应能力。结果Morris水迷宫实验的第2天及第3天,模型组大鼠的潜伏期明显长于对照组(P<0.05),在电跳台实验的第1天,模型组大鼠的学习成绩也明显差于对照组(P<0.05)。结论慢性间歇性饥饿可导致大鼠早期学习记忆能力下降。
