The effect of no-till with straw mulching on salt-alkalined soil was stud-ied in Xinding basin in the years of 1990~1992. The results showed that soil moisturein straw-mulched fields increased by 1.37%~5.24%: the rate of desalinazation in-creased by 40%~70%: soil bulk density dropped: the porosity in salt-alkalined fields in-creased: soil temperature decreased by 1.3~3.4℃, being favourable for seedling estab-lishment: soil organic matter increased by 0.055%~0.103%; the quantity of Azotobac-ter increased in 10...

In Laotouquan experimental area in Fansi county, 500 mu rotation area between water and dryland crops was constructed combining with the engineering of comprehensive management. The study on the effect of water and dryland crops to improve and use soline and alkali soil was conducted. The result showed that this kind of comprehensive technique could not be used only to control and adjust the movement of soil water and soil salts and the increase of the extra-salts on the topsoil, but also evidently to improve the chemical and physical characteristics of soil and soil fertility. The technique efficiently increased the crop yields in the saline and alkali experiment areas, and it could be practicable in the similar area.

1990~1993年开展了滹沱河流域盐碱地的治理与开发,建立了三个综合治理实验区。繁峙县老泉头实验区结合综合治理工程,建成水旱轮作区500亩,进行了水旱轮作改良利用盐碱地的研究。结果表明,该项技术不仅可以调控土壤水盐运动、控制盐分过量表聚,而且能使土壤理化性状及养分状况都得到明显改善,是改良利用盐碱地的一条有效途径。
