Cross flow microfiltration can successfully be used for disinfection purp-ose as its separation range is from 0.02 to 10μm.An experimental study wasperformed with a laboratory-scale microfiltration unit by changing the para-meters like membranes with different pores sizes,crossflow velocity,appliedpressure,influent E.Coli concentration.It was found that correct choice ofmembrane pore size,crossflow velocity and pressure was essential.
