Hong Kong has separated from the Inland for one and half century. During British colonial rule, the legal system based on British common law has been formed. After the return, the laws in existence will keep unchanged on the whole. Consequently, Hong Kong and Inland belong respectively to different legal districts in one sovereign state. Hence the interregional conflict of laws. The practical coordinating method is to apply international regulations the conflict, and then make unified interregional laws.
