    Fire extinction by means of furnace smoke is a new technique for fighting mine fires. This article was written on the bases of results obtained from field experiments and researches made during the years of 1960 to 1964. It consists of five main secti-ons, namely, Preparation of Furnace Smoke, Infuson of Furnace Smoke, Control of Air-leakage in Fire Area, Effects of Fire Extinction by Furnace Smoke and Action of Furnace Smoke in Fire Area.A description is made of the preparation of furnace smoke, infusion methods, as well as the experince of controlling air-leaking in fire area.The fire-extinction effects of furnace smoke are discussed and summarized accor-ding to statistis and investigations based on field experimental conditions, and the va-rious influencing factors are analyzed. A brief explanation is also made of the principle of action on fire extinction by furnace smoke.Finally, the article concludes with a summary discussion on the advantages,operating conditions and outstanding questions of this fire-fighting method.

    Using the principle of fluid mechanics and heal-transfer, a mathematical description is given to the high temperature smoke-flow along the boundary layer of roadway due to mine fire. Thereafter, the paper has derived a formula for the calculation of the overall heat-transfer coefficient between the smoke-flow and the roadway wall. A new formula for evaluating the ventilating pressure caused by mine fire is also established by the author.Meanwhile the physical meaning of parameters γ and T in the world-known for-mula h = Hγ△T/T is briefly verified and discussed.The main parameters affecting ventilating pressure caused by mine fire were analysed with computer. The calculating results obtained from the newformula are compared graphically with that of the other four known formulas.

    本文应用流体力学和传热学的理论,对矿井火灾时期产生的高温烟流在巷道边界层中的流动作了数学描述,在此基础上给出了烟流与巷道壁之间的复合换热系数的计算公式。笔者提出了新的火风压计算公式,并对国内外已有的公式h=Hγ(ΔJ)/T中的γ和T两参数的物理意义进行了粗略的验证。最后借助于数字电子计算机分析了主要参数对火风压的影响,并对五个算式计算的结果用曲线图进行了比较。

    It is preferred to use the axial Fans which can reverse air flow during the inverse ventilation by its simple reversion. The real operation scope and tendency of major Fans in China's coal-mines are discussed in the present paper. As a result,the using, range of this kind of fan in China's coal-minesis already defined.

    不调整任何叶片实现矿井轴流通风机直接反转反风是煤矿进风井口附近,进风井筒及其井底车场等处火灾事故反风的理想途径,本文对全国煤矿主通风机的实际运行工况范围和发展趋势进行了统计分析,确定了这种风机在我国煤矿中最大可能的应用范围。
