Method:This was a randomly, control, prospectly, the 103 old patients with primary undergoing coronary catheterization were studied, whose mean age were (66.6±8.4) years. the lower dosage 7.5 mg midazolam(0.1 mg/kg) was given in the Midazolam_group including 43 cases about 30 minutes before the coronary catheterization, 2 mg diazepam was given in diazepam_group including 60 patients about 30 minutes before the procedure.
Logistic regression revealed that after adjustment of age and diabetes mellitus, ABI≤0.9 was still a significant predictor for 3 - vessel plus left main CAD with an odds ratio (OR) of 6.5 (95% CI2.2to 19.3, P=0.001) Conclusion: In old patients with several atherosclerotic risk factors, ABI≤0.9 had a high specificity for predicting the presence of 3 -vessel or left main CAD.
Results AMI was easily precipitated by noncardiac surgery in the elderly patient with more cardiovascular risky factors. AMI usually occurred within 24 hours after noncardiac surgery with almost no typical chest pain and higher mortality.
