A special design mounted outside the heater can facilitate the removal and exchange of different kinds of heat pipes when the heater is onstream. It is therefore very convenient for the research work.A commercial heat pipe used for air preheating was mounted on top of the convection section of heater.

It has been tested at 700 MPa confining pressure and worked at 600 MPa and 400℃. Some triaxial experiments on the mechanica blehaviors of marbles have been done at 450 MPa and 400℃. The vessel consists of two layers hot fitted together with prestress between them. The inner diameter of the vessel is 100mm and the specimen's size is 40mm in diameter...

The vessel consists of two layers hot fitted together with prestress between them. The inner diameter of the vessel is 100mm and the specimen's size is 40mm in diameter and 90mm in length. The confining pressure is supplied by an external pressure source. A press is used to produce the axial stress. The vessel also has pore pressure paths and tubings for triaxial experiment with pore pressure. The pistons are sealed with O rings, teflon backup rings and bevelled berylco rings. To seal two flat surfaces in contact with each other under high pressure we use a single O ring for the first time. Experiments show that this simple design of sealing can withstand 700MPa high pressure without leak. It could probably be used at ever higher pressure, which has not been tested yet. An internal furnace is designed to do high temperature experiment. The inner part of the furnace is an alumina tube with heating element wound over it. The space between the heating element and outer tubing is filled with thermo-insulating material. The electrical power is supplied through conical electrode-plugs mounted in the upper piston, sealed and insulated with heat-resistant insulating sleeves. Temperature is measured by a calibrated chromelalumel thermocouple and controlled by XCT-101 temperature the controller. This apparatus serves as a new tool for studying mechanical behaviors of rocks under high pressure and temperature.

    目前加温的实验主要应用气体介质。最高实验压力达600兆帕,最高温度400℃。已做了450兆帕,400℃的大理岩三轴实验。本容器为双层筒体结构,气液两用,两层间采用过盈配合,热套工艺装配。容器孔径为φ100(毫米),试件尺寸为φ40×96(毫米)。围压介质可为液体或气体,靠外部压力源供压。轴压靠压力机对活塞加压产生。并备有孔隙水通道。活塞密封用“O”形环、聚四氟乙烯挡圈及铍青铜三角环。首次采用了单一橡胶“O”形环进行端面密封。实验证明,这种简单的结构能够可靠地密封住700兆帕的超高压力。加温方法采用内部加温装置,用经过标定的镍铬—镍铝热电偶测温,用XCT—101型温度指示调节仪控温。本装置的研制成功,填补了我国岩石力学实验技术方面的一项空白,为岩石力学和岩石物性实验研究提供了新的条件。

    This article describes on line proving of natural gas flow meters by using sound speed nozz- les. Sound speed nozzles have the advantages of high-accuracy, stable-performance and con- venient to operate. It is an ideal standard gas flow rate facility. Through the actual use at Men Station the nozzle bas been examined and appraised by the National Metrological Institu- te. The installment requirements, calculating methods and essential data are also showed.
