According to unusual geometrical characteristics of a mat type jack-up drilling rig,this paper discusses the following problems on its stability in floating condition:the intact stability under the action of sustained wind in an arbitrary direction;the effect of separating dista- nce between the mat and upper hull on the rig's stability in jacking process and the effect of the existence of the mat on the motion and stability of the rig in waves.In addition, some aspects of stability criteria of such rig are...

According to unusual geometrical characteristics of a mat type jack-up drilling rig,this paper discusses the following problems on its stability in floating condition:the intact stability under the action of sustained wind in an arbitrary direction;the effect of separating dista- nce between the mat and upper hull on the rig's stability in jacking process and the effect of the existence of the mat on the motion and stability of the rig in waves.In addition, some aspects of stability criteria of such rig are discussed.The first two problems are solved with computer by varying the wind load direction and the distance between the mat and hull of a typical rig's simulation model. The results may be helpful to designers to improve the stability and to develop the oper- ational guidelines of such a kind of jack-up rigs.

根据沉垫支承自升式钻井平台的船型特征,本文讨论该类平台在漂浮状态下的几个稳性问题;任意风向风力作用下的完整稳性;在升降过程中沉垫与上船体的间隙的变化对平台稳性的影响;沉垫的存在对平台在波浪中的运动与稳性的影响。此外,还对若干与稳性衡准有关的问题进行了讨论。所得结果有助于设计者改善该类平台的稳性,有助于制订该类平台合理的操作指南,提高平台的使用安全性。

In this paper the economics of different types of ships is demonstraed with respect to ship operation, the prediction of the best shipforms of the bulk cargo and the container ship. It is necessary to consider comprehensively the favourable natural conditions. The result suggests that the area of Ningbo Beilun Port be set up as deep water harbour in the Yangtze River Delta.

本文从船舶运营的角度,论证了各种类型船舶的经济性,推荐了散货和集装箱船的预测最佳船型.并将此与优越的自然条件加以综合考虑,认为宁波港北仑港区应建设成为长江三角洲的深水港.
