         In the paper we give a new transformation in the reduced gravity,which is associatedwith the Virasoro algebra without the center term.To compare with the Geroch group it iseasy to establish the relationship between the Virasoro algebra and the Kac-Moody algebra inthe theory of the reduced gravity.Then we point out that the transformation can be adoptedto generated the new solutions of the Ernst equation from the old ones.

         We generalize the infinitesimal transformations obtained in the Ernst fields of vacuum previously to the case including electromagnetic fields to form a larger infinite symmetric group which is isomorphic to the Virasoro group without a central term. Wherein we find a subgroup, the enlarged Cosgrove group. It is pointed out that new solutions of the electronic fields can be genereated from old ones by means of our new transformations.
