The test result shows that Mohs' hardness of ma -trix phase of mineral polymer material is3.40~3.50,acid resistance is92.1%~93.1%and alkali resistance is99.9%.
The test results show that the prepared glass-ceramics consist of matrix glass and wollastonite crystals and it has a compressive strength of 827 MPa, a mohs hardness of 6 degree, a volume density of 2.69 g/cm3, a water absorption of 0.016%, a acid resistance of 0.08%, a alkali resistance of 0.05%.
This paper studied the water resistance and acid resistance property of Y 2O 3 and Gd 2O 3 contaning La 2O 3 B 2O 3 BaO glass, Results indicated that the poor chemical durability of La 2O 3 B 2O 3 BaO glass can be improved by replacing La 2O 3 by Y 2O 3 and Gd 2O 3.
