It is found that for the PTR studied the coefficient of performance of the double inlet type can be improved from 0.091 to 0.108 and from 25.04% to 29.95% for the corresponding exergy efficiency compared with the orifice type.
Results of the first law thermodynamics analysis, exergy analysis and energy grade theory show that the primary energy ratio of GEHP is 1.76, the exergy efficiency is 0.291 and the energy grade balance co efficiency is 0.394. Compare to other heating device such as electric driven heat pump, GEHP has upper thermodynamics performance, and is a high efficient energy saving technology.
