The activities of peroxidase and indoleacetic acld oxidase in the seedlingsdecreased when treated with GA_3,and there was any close correlation found between the decrease percentageof the enzyme actlvity and the sensitivity to GA_3 among various semidwarf genes. Assay of isoperoxidase pat-terns showed that the decrease of peroxidase activity was correlated with the bands of A_9 A_(11),and the changesof isoperoxidase patterns of varieties with various semidwarf gene were different.The isozyme band A_5 wasrelated to the sensitivity to GA_3 of different semidwarf genes.
