  straddle packer
A "straddle packer", consisting of two inflatable rubber sleeves, is lowered to specified depths in the core hole and permeability tests by either the "constant head" or "pulse" methods are conducted.
      
A straddle packer system was used to provide transient pressure and temperature data.
      
Laboratory-scale hydraulic fracturing tests were performed on cubic specimens (up to a 10 m sized specimen), where cyclic pressurization was conducted using a rubber-made straddle packer to observe the extent of the hydraulically induced crack.

目的:探讨一侧心室压力负荷时,对对侧心室功能及结构的影响。方法:健康杂种犬7只,环缩肺动脉和主动脉,造成急性右心室和左心室压力负荷的动物模型,并应用心导管术观察血液动力学、应用超声心动图观察心室形态改变。结果:环缩肺动脉后,右心室压力明显升高,左心室压力降低,跨隔压力阶差缩小,舒张末期左心室偏心指数增大(由对照值由102±013增至188±058,P<001)。环缩主动脉后,右心室压力随左心室压力的升高而增高。环缩肺动脉和主动脉后右心室射血分数较环缩前均明显降低(P均<001)。跨隔压力阶差与偏心指数呈显著负相关(r=-0089,P=0.016)。结论:一侧心室压力负荷可影响对侧心室功能
