It is shown that the phase inversion is complete, which means that all water molecules in the system are transformed to be continuous phase at the phase inversion point. The viscosity of the system before the phase inversion point is almost constant independent on stress, which is the characteristics of Newtonian fluid. The systems after the phase inversion point exhibit high viscoelasticity and strong pseudoplasticity at relatively high stress. This is attributed to the formation of a new static structure among waterborne particles through hydrogen bond between the emulsifier and water molecules, and the static structure is broken at high stress.

Bisphenol A epoxy resin was emulsified to be waterborne system by incomplete phase inversion technique at low concentration of the emulsifier (2 33wt%),and both stress sweep and dynamic frequency sweep tests were performed to characterize the rheological behavior of the system during phase inversion evolution.It is shown that the system is a Newtonian fluid with an almost constant viscosity independent on stress before the phase inversion point.At the phase inversion point,the viscosity of the system at low stress increases slightly and the dynamic rheological parameters (storage modulus,loss modulus and complex viscosity) reach their minimum values.After the phase inversion point,the dynamic rheological parameters increase greatly with adding water.It is suggested that the lubrication of water phase among the waterborne particles dominates at the phase inversion point,and phase inversion progress still continues with adding more water.

Using the dynamic stress rfieometer, we perform experiments upon polypropylenes(PP2401) and co-polypropylenes( PP1330) that produced by 841-catalyst and TK-catalyst. The experiments are dynamic stress sweep, dynamic frequency sweep and steady-state shear. This paper compares the viscoelasticity of different polypropylenes using the results of the experiments.

利用动态应力流变仪(DSR),对分别使用841催化剂和TK催化剂生产的均聚丙烯(PP24O1)和共聚丙烯(PP1330)两类聚丙烯四种材料进行动态应力扫描、动态频率扫描和稳态剪切三种测试,从测试结果比较四种材料间的粘弹性差异。
