The CRT cursor readout system, which centers on 8098 single chip computer, can efficiently build up double direction communications between digital signal and analog signal by means of resistence encoder, A/D & D/A converters, analog multiplexer, etc. Thus it can solve the contradiction between CRT cursor readout and waveform display.
It also allows for automatic readout of the model frequency profile, which is one of the main features studied in gastrointestinal electrical activity.
Both assays, conveniently carried out within the same culture, have been standardized for use with 96-well microtiter plates and automatic reading with a Dynatech spectrophotometric microplate reader.
Although automatic reading of complete pages remains, in most cases, a long-term objective, tasks such as word spotting, text/image alignment, authentication and extraction of specific fields are in use today.
