         From the alcoholic extract of the herb Filifolium sibiricum (L) Kitam, three flavonoid compounds were isolated by polyamide column chromatographic method. Two of them were identified as eriodictyol (Ⅱ) and 3.6-dimethoxyquercetagetin (Ⅲ) in addition to a new flavanone Filifolin (Ⅰ).From chemical and spectral data, the structure of Filifolin was elucidated as 5,7,3', 4'-tetrahydroxy-6-methoxy flavanone.
