It is noted that, since NGN will further evolve towards the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) based networks and network bearing layer technologies will transit from IPv4 to IPv6, China Unicom will actively probe into the IMS-based NGN architecture and networking modes, and make great efforts on the trial application and promotion of IPv6, especially on the development and publicity of mobile IPv6 services.
