A novel type of dynamic focusing circuit has been developed for the testing system of the projection cathode ray tube(CRT)with double electron beams.Dynamic focusing technology considerably improves fringe resolution of the CRT and compensates the difference between the focusing at the center and around the edges of the screen.The experimental results show that the CRT focusing characteristics can be significantly improved by optimizing the focusing voltage.

Difference between parabola and actual dynamic focus voltage was measured. The relationships of dynamic focus voltage error caused by image optics processing trapezium distortion and projection tube assembly position error were acquired in theory. It is concluded that good focus effect couldn′t be gotten in all display area by traditional dynamic focus method, especially in the corners.
