The main technical parameters and systematic structure of the first set of plasma ignition combustion system, in Guangdong Hengyun Power Plant, are introduced in this paper. In combination with the boiler commissioning test, the operation experience is analyzed and summarized. The economic comparison between plasma ignition combustion system and light oil one used in the same type of units is performed. All the results obtained are valuable for the design and upgrading of the ignition combustion system.
