Anew progress has been made in the experimental study of herbage material compression process(projetNo.50165001) through the experimental study of whole compression process for fresh herbage material.
Besides,the author also advanced an idea of conducting a rheological experimental study of compression with variable cross section to give impetus to the development of rheology in herbage material compression and herbage material processing.
In order to promoting the development of compression theory and compression rheology for agricultural fibrous materials, exploiting and utilizing fresh herbage product, the stress relaxation process of typical fresh Alfalfa, Sorghum Sudanese and Corn stalk has been tested and studied on the 9KG-350 high density baler according to the rheologic characteristic of fresh herbage materials in the process of the compression.
In order to promote development of baler and exploit the fresh herbage product,the experimental study of the compression pressure in the compression process was conducted for the typical fresh herbage materials, including alfalfa 、Sudanese sorghum and corn stalk on the 9KG-350 model high density baler.
Based on the data of experiment, a mathematical model in term of the relationship between compression pressure and displacement as well as the compression pressure and density was established and a theoretical analysis was carried out for the compression process of the said three kind of herbages at different feeding rate, having acquired the law for the feeding rate to exert influence on the basic parameters in the compression process.
