For the packed column(φ18×1500 mm ) and the sieve tray column with 30 trays, the ratios of water to stock in the range of 1/15 to 1/10 and 1/10 to 1/20 were appropriate, respectively. The extraction C4 raffinate after separation contained less than 15 ppm of residual methanol.
