Objective To study the dose-effect relationship of cracking sounds and the largest manipulative force of thumb by cervical and lumbar rotatory manipulation,in order to provide a quantitative basis for the manipulation.
Conclusion:Rotational manipulation is an effective method for cervical spondylosis in vertebral artery type. The correct diagnosis and selection of indication are the key for good results.
The result show that rotation manipulation can reduce the pace of creep and rate of stress relaxation of cervical disc, hence demonstrating that rotation manipulation has an effect on adjustment of the stickiness elasticity, and stress distribution.
Results: (1) The pressure of lumbarnucleus increased during experimental rotation manipulation and sitting-rotation manipulation, and reduced or slightly increased during traction-rotation manipulation. The increase of the pressures was the most obvious at the segment of L5S1 during sitting-rotation manipulation (P<0.001);
Results The lumbar average force of largest pressures was 5.08±1.289kg and 6.636±1.484kg respectively in left and right thumbs,the audible release(cracking sound)associated with joint manipulations as a sign of successful manipulation.
L 4,5 and L 5S 1 were measured by pressure sensor,and the movements of L 4,5 disc communicating with L 5 nerve roots were observed by biomedical extensometer.
Result:The average force of the thumb pressures was 4.727±1.037kg and 6.420±1.329kg respectively in left and right thumbs, the audible release (click sound) associated with joint manipulations as a sign of successful manipulation.
Results: Taken the audible release (cracking sound) associated with joint manipulations as a sign of successful manipulation, the average force of largest pressures was 5.1 ±1.3 kg and 6.6±1.5 kg respectively in left and right thumbs.
This paper presents a dual-stage control system design method for the three-axis-rotational maneuver control and vibration stabilization of a spacecraft with flexible appendages embedded with piezoceramics as sensor and actuator.
Numerical simulations are performed to show that rotational maneuver and vibration suppression are accomplished in spite of the presence of disturbance torque and parameter uncertainty.
In these cases, nothing is gained by the rotational maneuver of the robot and therefore the current is maintained.

Twelve cases with fracture of the radial neck (including incomplete displacement) in adolescence by hypertensional rotational reduction were studied. The follow-up periods were from 1 to 3 years, and the results were satisfactory. The advantage of this method included: ①simple and convenient; ②unnecessary anesthesia; ③quickly recovery. The patients with fracture of the radial neck were divided into 2 types-flexion and extension, according to the mechanism and displacement of the fracture.
Twenty cases of lumbar intervertebral disk bernia were treated by lumbarvertebrae-rotating maniplations, and the results of magnetic resonance image before and after treatment were measured and compared. The results showed no significant difference in the herniary degrees before and after treatment, indicating that the manipulations failed to reposit the protruded pulpiform nucleus. It is possible that they changed the position relation bestween the herniary nucleus and the compressed nerve root, alleviated...
A microsensor was embedded to detect the displacement and receiving forces from lumbar posterior intervertebral facet joints with various postures.The results indicates that the degree and direction of displacement is influenced by morphology of the articular process,during motion of the spine,the intra-pressure of facet joints is concentrated on the superior and inferior ends of the facet joint.During instability of certain segment of the joint,there will be an increasing of around 8 times of intra-pressur...
