On the basis of field data about depth, storage of reservoir and size of breach extension of more than 400 dams, this paper presents an universal formula for computing the peak discharge from the site of dam-break, which is applicable to the conditions of instantaneous or gradual, complete or half dam-break under different downstream depth, and for computing the erosion of bam dottom and the sedimentation within reservoir. This paper also presents the method for computing discharge hydrograph of instantaneous and gradual dam-break with different valley cross -section under the conditions of different rate of inflow. In order to facilitate the comptation process, six tables are presented as appendix.

本文较系统全而地提出了对于水库溃坝流量计算所归纳出的统一公式,概括了现行的不同方法,可用于瞬间溃、逐渐溃、部分溃、全溃以及冲淤影响下的坝址峰顶流量。文中还提出了不同河谷断面的溃坝流量过程线计算方法。所提出的方法,经用原型观测和模型试验等成果验证,精度满足设计要求,计算也较简易。

Sampling density and digital filtering-in order to prevent significant distortionof the chromatogram peaks after sampling and filtering,the sampling density should bekept above 20 points/peak.Digital filtering is accomplished in two steps.First,databunching and second,smoothing by the least squares procedure(an 11-point cubic con-volute).This procedure is equivalent to the concatenation of two low pass filters.Theauthor derived its transfer function,by means of which parameters of digital filteringmay be determined.For the computer implementation of the least square smoothing theSavitzky and Golay algorithm is most often adopted.The application of this method re-quires fixed step length of data sampling.The author made a modification of this methodand developed a varying step length digital filtering algorithm.As the peaks in thechromatogram grow wider and wider following the increasing of retention time,thisalgorithm can identify all peaks of different widths with a fixed set of criteria.2. Peak identification algorithm-to detect the rising and end of a peak the lstderivative criterion or the increasing tangent search method is adopted.The algorithmfor crest and valley detection,for the discrimination of fusing peaks against rider peaksand for the rejection of pseudo peaks introduced by noise or other factors is also descri-bed.The real time data processing program based on the above mentioned principles hasbeen successfully applied to the study on the determination of HLB for the surface activeagents.This program is also applicable to other analytic or nonanalytic applications ofthe gas chromatography.The microcomputer employed is a CROMEMCO model CS2.
