Rubber sandwich spring is widely used in the world as an elastic element of secondary suspension on locomotives. Its lateral stiffness is to be known in locomotive design for prediction of the lateral stability and curring performance of the locomotive. Based on laboratory tests of come rubber sandwich springs this paper proposes a calculating method for the lateral stiffness of rubber sandwith spring.

The paper introduces the main structural features and technical characteristics of air springs used on double-deck passenger coach. The spring's vertical and lateral stiffness are computed. Test results of the spring's fatigue strength, crack resisting limit, sealing performance, vertical and lateral stiffnesses, and measurements of the vertical stiffness of the air spring device are given. The paper summarizes the experience obtained in the study on air springs used on double-deck passenger coach, and puts forward ideas for improvement, thus prowdes reference for furthering the study theoretically and experimentally on air spring suspension device to be used on high speed passenger cars.

本文介绍了双层客车用空气弹簧装置的主要结构特征和主要技术特性参数。对空气弹簧垂直刚度、横向刚度进行了参数计算。给出了空气弹簧疲劳、破裂极限压力、气密性能、垂直刚度、横向刚度特性试验结果及空气弹簧装置垂直刚度测试结果。总结了双层客车用空气弹簧研制的经验和体会,并提出了改进意见,为进一步研制高速客车用空气弹簧悬挂装置提供了理论和试验参考依据。

In this paper,the lateral vibration behaviour of the train-Xiancunbei bridge system at quasi-high speed(160 km/h)is simulated through artifical frame's crawl wave in order to test if the bridge has the demanded lateral rigidity.
