针对海河低平原水资源严重不足,干旱日趋加剧的现状,以节水为主线,以提高水分利用效率为中心,以节水增产增收为目的,系统研究了限水灌溉农田土壤水分消长动态,主要作物生长发育特点、需肥需水规律及水肥配合原则。在节水种植机理研究的基础上,又系统研究了调整作物布局,优化种植方式,筛选抗旱喜肥型品种,调控水肥运用,采取抗旱节水耕作措施等,形成限水灌溉农田节水种植系列技术,产量稳定提高,水分利用效率提高1倍左右。
