    Two circuits designed for solving difference equations on analogue computers are used for calculating the frequency of two interconnected systems and power flow on tielines. Meanwhile, by means of modern control theory, the megawatt-frequency of the same two-area systems are calculated on a digital computer .Then, the results are compared with each other.The state variables and load disturbances are estimated by Kalman Filter and Dimension Lowering Observer.
