Passenger ticket printer is a critical piece of equipment in railway ticket selling system.The research and development assignment for the printer is listed as one of the key tasks of the state.On the basis of the stringent demands for producing securities against different software environment and summing up the advanced technical requirements for high tech electro mechanical products,this article explains in a systematic manner the key technologies and the design concept involved in the research and development of a prototype printer regarding its function,mechanical construction,control and monitoring circuit,software control program,and the upgrading of its steady operation and reliability.The article also deals with some problems relating to the promotion of the printer′s functions and its batch production in the future in the light of testing and adjustment of the prototype,parameters measurement and on site trial use.
