There were the maximal growth, and minimal feed conversion ratio, and liver lipid content in the fish fed the formulated feed supplementation of choline at a rate of 0.8 %-1.2%,which is the optimal dietary choline.
When Monopterus albus fed on the diets with betaine content being (1.5 g/100 g)~2.0 g/100 g, its speed of growth, the feed conversion, liver lipid content were the same as that fed on animal diets.
