In the refining section various technologies, such as HS-FCC technology,PMC technology,SUPERFLEX process and PetroFCC process for enhancing propylene production,PetroMax~(TM)-MD and REDAR~(TM) combined process for high quality diesel fuel production, and CAT-Aid additive series for FCC processing residue feed, were presented.
China's diesel consumption is expected to reach 154 and 194 million tons by 2010 and 2015 respectively, reflecting an expected annual average growth rate of 7% between 2005 and 2010 and 4.8% between 2010 and 2015.
Migration of N-Alkanes from Diesel Oil along the Bacteria-Ciliates Trophic Chain
The data on the dynamics of the content and qualitative composition of intracellular alkanes in Paramecium caudatum Ehrenberg, 1838 cells feeding on bacteria with different levels of exposure to diesel oil are presented.
The possibility of migration of alkanes from diesel oil along the trophic chain from bacteria to ciliates was demonstrated.
The radiation-chemical purification of water from petroleum products (diesel oil, motor oil, and residual fuel oil) was studied by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.
Oxidation of Diesel Oil in the Presence of Metallic Copper
Combustion and emissions of the diesel engine using bio-diesel fuel
The combustion and heat release of engines using diesel fuel and bio-diesel fuel have been investigated.
The economic performance and emission features of diesel engines using diesel fuel and bio-diesel fuel are compared.
Fischer-Tropsch (F-T) diesel fuel is characterized by a high cetane number, a near-zero sulphur content and a very low aromatic level.
The results show that F-T diesel fuel exhibits a slightly longer injection delay and injection duration, an average of 18.7% shorter ignition delay, and a comparable total combustion duration when compared to those of conventional diesel fuel.
From the ship operators' point of view,a comparative economical analysis on various types of blended additives with diesel oil is presented in this paper.Nine tables providing the information for the Navigation Department and manufacturers to specify grades of diesel oil, brands and ratio of additives to aim at an optimum economy are given.
In 1993,domestic oil products were in great demand as the growth rate reached the highest level achieved in the past ten years. During the first half of the year, oil products were in short supply and prices soared. In the second half, the oil products supply increased while demand cooled, leading to a downturn in prices. Oil products importation in 1993 increased 1. 25 times over the previous year with net importation reaching 13 MT,and occupying 10% of the total domestic demand.
