         A dual UV/IR double wavelength analyser has been developed for the simul-taneous determination of fluorine and hydrogen fluoride in gas.          A reflection chirped grating structure having continuously varying sawtooth groove profilers proposed. The result of analysis shows that the type of chirped grating is of very high diffraction efficiency. A concise formula, defined as the chirped function, is presented to describe the relation ship of chirped grating parameters.
