For analysing and calculating the resonance response quantitatively,thispaper derives a method for calculating the excitation force acting on the bladesand the vibration response due to the distortion In resonance state.This methodis basedon the conceptthat distortion Induced blade vibration seventy dependsupon the effectiveness of energy Input to the blade*In essence,the correlationbetween the excitation force distribution and the blade mode shape.By usingthis method,one can analyse and calculate the excitation force as well asvibration response induced by various distortion patterns. A distortion index is also discussed and improved.it is directly related toblade vibration and is expressed in terms of Fourier cofficients for excitationforce.Using this index one can analyse the characteristics of distortion andevaluate the acceptability of inflow distortion. It is also put forward in this paper to evaluate directly the acceptabilityof inflow distortion in a turbo-engine by comparing the actual distortion indexof the engine inlet with its allowable value. Finally,the correctness of the proposed method is tested by going throughcomputations for an actual case of inflow-distortion-induced blade resonance,and it is shown that the calculated results are in good agreement with test data.

A turbine disk is known as one of the important parts of a jet engine. In the design and analysis of its damage tolerance, it is necessary to determine the critical crack length aic exactly. Using the cracks at the bottom of firtree slots of the first stage turbine disk in an existing engine as an example, by means of the breakdown test and elaborate theoretical calculation, the criterion and the solution algorithm to determine the critical crack length aic are provided. It is suggested that the condition under which the engine could not normally operate be regarded as the critical state for the crack. In view fo the complexity of turbine disk shape and loading conditions, the authors have employed "twice evaluation algorithm'' for J-integral in the elasto-plastic fracture mechanics. This algorithm comes out simpler and more accurate than those presented in literature.

This paper discusses the design thinking for structural strength of modern aircraft from evolution of Amercian Military Aircraft Specification of Strength and Stiffness, and describes the researches on safety life, damage tolerance(i.e.safety life with supplementary damage tolerance) and durability ( i.e.durability with supplementary damage tolerance), etc. Meanwhile, this paper discusses also the necessity and feasibility for the employment of durability and damage tolerance in designing the landing gear and gives some teachnical data and specifications appropriate for design.

本文从美国军用飞机强度和刚度规范的演变来探讨近代飞机结构强度的设计思想,並对有关具体实施中的分析与试验验证要求作了较详细的论述,涉及安全寿命设计、损伤容限设计(即辅以损伤容限设计的安全寿命设计)和耐久性设计(即辅以损伤容限设计的耐久性设计)等。同时,研究了起落架结构采用耐久性与损伤容限设计的必要性与可行性,提供了若干可供设计参考的技术数据与规定。
