The leakage of tunnel of Panshisan hydroelectric station increases rapidly from 1991, almost a water pump was needed to work continously. In flood period two or three water pumps were needed to drain water of collector well. This threatened the station to work safely.
The reform of the traditional water-collecting well control system of Jinxi Hydropower Plant with the technology of PLC and XST water-level-control apparatus is introduced.
The locally deep pit of the elevator shaft in the deep foundation pit of Nanjing Dongdu Urban Plaza is located in silty soil containing serious water seepage. Comprehensive dewatering measures of pipe-well,collecting well and light well point and other measures such as steel sheet pile support,flushing drainage of mud,closing well with valve and etc. were adopted to ensure the quality of earthwork and pit construction and the construction schedule of the foundation works.
Flow diagrams are presented for the traditional system of collecting well production using a force pumping station, and the collection and single-pipe transport of well production using a water-jet station, which includes a water-jet pump (WJP).
