In the majority of the cases, the upper part of the trapezius muscle is supplied by the superficial branch of the transverse cervical artery and the lower part by its deep branch, while the middle part of the muscle is supplied by both superficial and deep branches, The venous blood in the trapezius muscle is mainly drained by the transverse cervical and suprascapular veins. The outer diameter of transverse cervical vein is 3 mm on the average.The trapezius muscle is innervated by the accessory nerve and the anterior rami of the third and fourth cervical nerves. The average length of the part (from the posterior border of the sternoeleidomastoid muscle to the anterior border of the the trapezius muscle) of the accessory nerve is 44.40 mm and its average diameter is 2.09 mm.

Objective To investigate the relationship between the spinal nerve sulcus and spinal nerve lesion. Methods The width, depth of the lateral opening of spinal nerve sulcus and outside diameters of spinal nerves were measured on 60 cases (male 28, remale 32) adult cadavers (total 120 sides). In the article, the ratios of spinal nerve external diameter to width of the lateral opening of spinal nerve sulcus were processed statistically. Results From C3to C6, the width and the depth of the lateral opening of spinal nerve sulcus increased gradually and their average values were respectively 4.5±1.2mm and 4.3±1.2mm. From C3 to C7, the external diameter of spinal nerves increased gradually and its average value was 2.9±1.0mm. According to the ratios of spinal nerve to spinal nerve sulcus, it is proved that C5 was 1∶1.54, the C4 was 1∶1.67, C3 was 1∶1.75.Conclusion It is suggested that the site of spinal nerve sulcus has intimate relations with the spinal nerve lesions and the rate of the spinal nerve lesion at C5 and C6 is probably much higher than the others.

目的 探讨脊神经沟与沟内段脊神经受嵌压的关系。方法 取 6 0具成尸 (男 2 8,女 32 ) 12 0侧颈椎 ,对脊神经沟外口宽度、深度及其沟内段脊神经前支横径进行观察 ,并统计脊神经前支横径与脊神经沟外口宽度之比。结果 ①脊神经沟外口宽度、深度自颈 3至颈 6均逐渐增大 ,其平均值分别为 4 5± 1 2mm和4 3± 1 2mm ;② 3到 7颈神经前支横径逐渐增大 ,平均值为 2 9± 1 0mm ;③颈神经前支横径与脊神经沟外口宽度之比 ,颈 5最小 (1∶1 5 4 ) ,颈 4次之 (1∶1 6 7) ,颈 3最大 (1∶1 75 )。结论 脊神经沟与沟内段脊神经受累关系密切 ,下颈段 (5、6 )颈神经受累机率可能大于上颈段 (3、4 )。

Objective To design the compression model of the anterior ramus of the cervical nerve, and observe its electrophysiological and electron microscopic changes. Methods Wistar male rats were involved in the study. The silicone tube (1 mm in diameter) was cut longitudinally and to wrap around the anterior ramus of cervical 6 nerve distal to the dorsal root ganglion. Nerve compression model was set up after the gentle ligation outside the silicone tube by silk thread. Somatic evoked potentials (SEP)of musculocutaneous nerve was examined before, 2 weeks after, and 4 weeks after nerve compression. The compressed and contralateral nerves and bilateral dorsal root ganglions were harvested for histological examination. Results At 2 and 4 weeks after compression, the amplitude of SEP of musculocutaneous nerve was lower than that before compression, and the latent period was longer than that before compression. There was statistically significant difference between them. The compression segment showed fibrosis degeneration, demyelination and inflammatory changes under electron microscope. Conclusions It is a practical, economical, convenient and reproducible model which can be used in the further study of compression of anterior ramus of cervical nerve.

目的 设计大鼠颈神经前支受压模型并观察大鼠颈神经前支受压后的电镜及肌电改变。方法 Wistar雄性大鼠 ,将直径 1mm的硅胶管作纵形切开 ,于接近背根神经节远端套入颈6神经前支 ,用丝线在硅胶管外轻松地结扎 ,造成神经受压。在神经受压前、受压后 2周及 4周测定肌皮神经的躯体诱发电位 (SEP) ;同时切取受压神经段、对侧正常神经及双侧背根神经节作组织形态学检查。结果 受压后2周、4周肌皮神经SEP的波幅低于受压前 ,其潜伏期比受压前延长 ,两者相比差异有显著性意义 (t =18 7、15 6,P <0 .0 1)。扫描电镜下观察见受压段神经呈纤维变性、神经脱髓鞘及炎症改变。结论 该模型具有切实可行、经济方便、可重复的特点 ,为研究颈神经前支受压的合适模型
