Methods TGFβ-1 and hyalauronic acid (HA), laminin (LN), type III procollagen (PC III), and type IV collagen (IV-C) were assessed by ELISA and the data were statistically analyzed in 108 patients with type B posthepatitic cirrhosis and 97 normal controls.
