In the reserve calculation by the volumetric method, according to the theory that distribution value of oil and water in transition zone is a function of capillary pressure, the oil saturation and the lower limit values of effective oil conduits and effective porosity are determined by reservoir pore distribution.It lays a good foundation for increasing the economic effectiveness of the exploration and for the reserve calculation.

It is important to both optimum exploration and developmentprogram, and also gives some reference for areas with similar seismic and geological condi-tions .

柴达木盆地东部地区是第四纪的沉积与沉降中心,内陆湖泊相的沉积厚度大、分布广泛。小幅度同沉积构造发育,是天然气生成、运移和聚集的有利地区。由于含气地层新、埋藏浅、厚度大、构造条件简单,气藏特征独特具有典型意义。柴达木盆地东部地区经过三十多年的勘探,发现了一批第四系天然气田。台南气田是近年来发现的规模较大、特征典型的高产气田。本文从构造形态、沉积柑模式、储集层类型和含气异常信息等方面分析了气藏的地质与地球物理特征,和特殊的地质结构与独特的地震异常之间的关系,以及气田高产富集的因素。
