This paper deals with the number,habit and early spring migration of Whooper Swan (Cygnus cygnus)in Bayinbuluke. The first group of swans came to the area on March 19th, 1992 and up to the top of numbers on March 27th.The migrant top everyday was from 21:00 to 0:00 at night and a few in the day. Main migratory route of the swans was along the Kaidu River against the current in Tianshan Mountains.
