In this paper, the contents of protein, fat and lysine of 4213 broomcorn millet and proso millet varieties from many provinces (or regions) of China were analysed. 126 high protein varieties, 45 high fat varieties, 17 high lysine varieties and 45 high quality varieties were selected.
8515 accessions proso millet germplasm have been collected in 23 provinces of China during 22 years.
