On the basis of the analysis on the main natural disasters and city geological disasters of six big and intermediate cities in the Guanzhong region of Shaanxi province in detail, this paper assessed the economic loss due to the various disasters,the disaster risks,vulnerability and anti-disaster ability of each city respectively,and systematically classified the cities in connection with the countermeasures of disaster resistance.
