    It is showed in this paper that the contrast performance experiment and theory analysis between two types of petrol engines and the LPG engines refitted based on them. And it is clear that chief character of LPG is reducing the emissions of CO and  NO x according to the result of this experiment. The improvement lies on whether the original gasoline engines structure are suitable to using LPG.

    对两种汽油机和在其基础之上改装成的LPG(液化石油气 )发动机进行了性能对比试验和理论分析。试验结果表明 ,LPG主要优点是降低了CO和HC排放。但并不是所有结构的汽油机都有同样的改善效果 ,还取决于原机结构与LPG燃料特征的适配性。

    A comparison between gasoline and LPG fuel is presented. Based on thermodynamics model, the mechanism of combustion and emission of both fuels is studied. The result shows that the faults from gasoline fueled engine can influence the performance when LPG is used. With reequip and well adjusted alter fuel engine, better emission and performance level can be got.

    通过燃用汽油及液化石油气的对比试验得出了两种燃料的对比燃烧特性 ,从而在燃烧机理上分析了其燃烧及排放特性。结论表明以汽油机改装的LPG(液化石油气 )发动机自身带有一些缺陷 ,但通过改装及调试是可以获得较理想的动力性并改善排放指标的。

    Effects of excess air ratio on CO,HC and NO x emissions from a small LPG engine are studied experimentally.A proportional LPG and air mixer is developed to control air fuel ratio,which is better than conventional venturi mixer.By means of developed mixer, emissions from LPG engine appear better than original gasoline engine and can meet Euro Ⅰ emission limits with power loss less than 5%.

    液化石油气发动机的排放性能进行了台架试验研究 ,分析了影响液化石油气发动机排放指标的最敏感参数——过量空气系数与发动机排放之间的关系。开发了一种易于控制空燃比从而使排放性能优良的液化石油气混合器。利用该混合器可以使液化石油气发动机在动力性达到汽油机 95 %的条件下 ,HC和 CO排放指标优于汽油机 ,并且整车排放达到欧 标准。
