Investigations show that twice electronic fuel injection can make the lean limit(A/F) increase by 1.5—2 units; the fuel consumption was improved remarkably in partial load, compared with the original engine , the fuel consumption decreased by about 19.1%. On the other hand, the fuel consumption of the quasi-homogenous mixture lean combustion decreased by about 6.5% compared with homogenous lean mixture combustion during all the A/F.

The optical system and the control and data acquisition system were developed. A set of dynamic visualization experiment unit for spray and combustion process is set up. The photos of spray and combustion process were acquired by this unit under different injection pressures and combustion chamber shapes. By contrasting and analyzing these photos, it is concluded that the spray and combustion performance would be better under higher injection pressure and when the column shape of combustion chamber is declined.

基于柴油机喷雾燃烧可视化方法,在DLH1105型产品发动机的基础上进行了发动机的改装、光路系统的开发和数据采集及控制系统的开发,研制出喷雾燃烧多功能动态可视化试验装置.同时总结出试验装置建立过程中应该注意的一些关键问题.在该试验装置上,分别对25MPa和18MPa的喷油压力下以及62mm圆柱形、55mm圆柱形、55mm圆柱左偏斜形、55mm圆柱右偏斜形4种燃烧室形状下的喷雾燃烧过程进行了喷雾燃烧可视化试验,获得了喷雾燃烧照片,通过对比分析得出高喷油压力及偏斜形状燃烧室具有更优的喷雾燃烧特性.
